See It. Believe it. Acheive it.

As we enter the first full week of the year, I can’t help but to ask myself one question: How can I make this year MY year?

I’ve already read some pretty inspiring posts about being a better ‘you’ in 2014 (Levo League, The Daily Muse) And so it began.

When I started thinking about how I could make this year better than previous ones, I remembered a tweet from JasFly about vision boards.

In case you’re wondering what a vision board is, I would describe it as a collage of pictures and sayings that represent your goals. The great thing about vision boards is that they can be created on a weekly or monthly basis also.

Reading the amazement in JasFly’s tweet, I then decided I would make my own. I began asking myself a few questions from Paul Angone’s All Groan Up post and other questions like, ‘What are my main goals this year? Are they attainable in one year’s time?’ After finding the answers to those questions and some hours of
cutting up old magazines, I completed my first vision board!!!

Just to see everything I’d like to do this year on paper is so motivating! I am so excited about what 2014 has to offer.

Even blogger Necole Bitchie encouraged her followers to make one. Captioning her picture, “Have you started your vision board? I’m in the middle of creating mine! New Year! New goals.”

Hopefully this post inspires you to create your own vision board! I want all of you to have the best year possible!! So go out and make 2014 YOUR YEAR!
